  • Mix together 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup of cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Milk 1 cup
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Shortening

Instructions
