Applebee's Blue Ribbon Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Two egg whites
  • Sugar, 3/4 cup
  • Shortening, 2 tablespoon
  • 9 scoops of fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • War water preferably 1/4 cup
  • Fudge topping about 1/2 cup
  • All-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups of
  • Cocoa about 1/4 cup of
  • Salt, 3/4 teaspoon
  • Baking soda, 1/4 cup
  • Chopped walnuts, 2 tablespoons
  • Hershey's chocolate syrup, ½ cup
  • Hot Hershey's chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • You should preheat oven to 350F. Whip the egg whites with a mixer until they are thick.
  • Beat egg whites and sugar until soft peaks. Shortening, chocolate syrup, water, fudge, and vanilla.
  • Separately, mix flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Slowly add dry ingredients while beating wet.
  • Shorten an 8-inch cake pan. Spread brownie batter with the chopped walnuts. Bake for about 35 minutes, or can check toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cut the chilled brownie cake into 9 pie halves. Serve brownies and frozen yogurt with warmed chocolate sauce.
