Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of chicken ground up
  • 1 cup of celery, chopped
  • About half a cup of chopped onion
  • A single teaspoon of salt
  • Black pepper, one-fourth of a teaspoon
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • One egg, beaten
  • One-half cup of milk
  • One and a one-half cups of breadcrumbs
  • About a 1/4 cup of oil from a vegetable source

Instructions

  • Cook the ground chicken, celery, and onion in a skillet over medium heat until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper after adding them.
  • Whisk the egg and milk together in a bowl.
  • The chicken mixture should be dipped into the egg mixture before being breaded.
  • Over medium heat, warm the oil in the skillet.
  • Cook the chicken croquettes for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve with your preferred gravy or dipping sauce. Enjoy!
