Ingredients
4 bananas from Chiquita
2 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
About a third of a cup of mild brown sugar
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of light brown sugar on top
1/2 cup of melted butter
Two big eggs
Extraction of vanilla, 2 teaspoons
Approximately half a teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Set the oven's temperature to 175 C/350 F.
Peel and mash three Chiquita bananas in a bowl using a fork.
Combine the melted butter and 2/3 cup brown sugar in a large basin. Whisk in the eggs, vanilla, and mashed Chiquita bananas after adding them.
Lightly stir the self-raising flour and salt into the mixture with a spatula until no flour streaks are visible.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan in an equal layer.
The sixth and last Chiquita banana is peeled and sliced. Slices of banana bread should be placed on top, then light brown sugar should be added. Preferably for 40 to 60 minutes.
