  • Two sliced bell peppers (any colors work great)
  • Slicing 1 white onion

Sauce Ingredients

  • Two squeezed limes
  • A glass of orange juice
  • A half cup of cilantro stems and all
  • A single chipotle pepper from the Hispanic cuisine section of the supermarket
  • Only one clove of garlic
  • A Hint of Salt, About a Half-Teaspoon
  • Half a teaspoon of pepper
  • Cumin, one teaspoon

Instructions

  • Combine the sauce ingredients in a blender (lime juice, orange juice, cilantro, chipotle pepper, garlic clove, salt, pepper, and cumin). Pulverize these things in a food processor.
  • Place flank steak in the slow cooker and cover with sauce.
  • Cut them into thick slices to ensure that bell peppers and onions maintain their shape after cooking all day.
  • On top of the meat and sauce, arrange the bell peppers and onions.
  • In a slow cooker, simmer for 8 hours on low.
  • On flour or corn tortillas, place steak, bell peppers, and onions; top with guacamole, cheese, and sour cream to taste.
