Ingredients

  • One 9-inch pie crust (refrigerated or homemade)
  • 2 cans (21 oz. each) Comstock More Duncan Hines Fruit Cherry Filling for a Pie
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • Approximate half a cup of brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
  • The Original Dairy Whipped Topping, Reddi-wip

Instructions

  • Move the rack inside the oven to the position that is in the lowest third of the oven. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • It is important that the bottom of the pie crust is placed at the bottom of the pie plate, and that the borders are fluted. Cherry pie filling should be spread into the pie dough.
  • While the mixer is on low speed, combine the butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until a crumbly streusel topping is produced. Spread on top of the pie filling in equal layers.
  • After placing the pie on a baking pan, bake it for approximately 45 to 50 minutes, or until the streusel topping is golden brown and crisp. Take the pie out of the oven and let it cool down to room temperature before cutting it. Enjoy with Reddi-Wip!
