Ingredients

  • 3 Piece Chicken Breast
  • ½ Tablespoon Paprika
  • ¼ Teaspoon Clove Powder
  • ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Teaspoon Black or Cayenne Pepper
  • Sodium Flour(Optional)
  • Buttermilk (Optional)

Instructions

  • The chicken breast pieces should be patted dry with a paper towel
  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, half of the paprika, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the black pepper, and the salt. Combine until thoroughly mixed
  • In a separate bowl, combine the remaining onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt with the buttermilk
  • Each chicken breast is dipped in the buttermilk mixture, then dipped in the flour mixture to ensure that all sections are coated in flour
  • Put a large pot or chip pan simply on the stovetop with a medium flame. Cook chicken with enough oil to cover in a pot
  • When the oven reaches approximately 350F/175C, carefully place the chicken breast pieces inside
  • Golden brown and completely cooked throughout, frying chicken takes around 12 minutes
  • This is done when the middle is no longer pink and a thermometer placed into the thickest part registers at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius)
