The chicken breast pieces should be patted dry with a paper towel
In a small bowl, combine the flour, half of the paprika, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the black pepper, and the salt. Combine until thoroughly mixed
In a separate bowl, combine the remaining onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt with the buttermilk
Each chicken breast is dipped in the buttermilk mixture, then dipped in the flour mixture to ensure that all sections are coated in flour
Put a large pot or chip pan simply on the stovetop with a medium flame. Cook chicken with enough oil to cover in a pot
When the oven reaches approximately 350F/175C, carefully place the chicken breast pieces inside
Golden brown and completely cooked throughout, frying chicken takes around 12 minutes
This is done when the middle is no longer pink and a thermometer placed into the thickest part registers at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius)
