Once no longer pink, brown the minced beef in the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Transfer to a big pot. Avoid draining.
In the same frying skillet as the ground beef, sauté onion, celery, and green pepper for about 5 minutes, or until onion is translucent.
A little chili pepper should be added.
Mix some vegetables in with the ground meat.
Add the kidney beans, the chopped mushrooms, the undiluted tomato soup, and the tomatoes with the juice.
Add the remaining garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, and chili powder.
Mix the components thoroughly.
One hour of simmering with the lid on while stirring periodically.
Remove the cover, simmer for at least 30 minutes, and stir periodically.
