Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the tomato sauce, oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
  • Over medium heat use a saucepan to Heat olive oil.
  • Pour the tomato sauce mixture into the saucepan and stir well.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the sauce has thickened and the flavors have melded together, remove it from heat and let it cool.
  • Use the sauce as a topping for your favorite homemade pizza.
