Ingredients

  • 16 oz. large mushrooms
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Longhorn cheese, shredded
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Remove the mushrooms' stems and discard them.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Longhorn cheese, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into the mushroom caps, filling each one until it is slightly mounded.
  • Onto a baking sheet place mushrooms and bake for 20-25 minutes, or you should wait until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms become tender.
  • Garnished with additional green onions if desired and serve immediately.
