Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Put and let brown the ground beef over medium heat in a large pot or use a Dutch oven, while breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Cook until the beef is no longer pink.
  • Now, chopped onion and minced garlic should be added to the pot. Sauté for approximately 5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  • Pour in Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup, diced tomatoes (with their juice), and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
  • Add the dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Give it a good stir.
  • Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • After simmering, taste the soup and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with your choice of toppings, such as shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, or fresh parsley.
  • Serve hot and enjoy the comforting flavors of Campbell's Tomato Soup with Ground Beef!
