BBQ Chicken Wings Recipe

Homemade sweet and tangy barbecue sauce on baked chicken wings. I'll show you my secret for oven-crispy chicken wings.
The entire family will devour these wings, and you'll enjoy making them because they're so easy to prepare (without the grease splatters of fried wings).
They make an excellent appetizerĀ or snack for a sporting event, but they also make a delicious dessert dinner when served with a few sides.

Ingredients

  • Wings of poultry
  • Non-aluminum bakingpowder
  • Pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Using a pair of scissors, sever each wing at the joint to make a drumette and a tiny wing
  • Once you've dried the bowl with paper towels, you can add the baking soda, salt, and pepper. See what happens if you combine all these things
  • Distribute uniformly on a rack set atop a tray
  • For 30 minutes at 120 degrees Fahrenheit, the oven temperature should be set
  • After an additional 40-45 minutes in the oven at 220C/425F, the wings should be lightly browned and crispy
  • These would be tasty even without the homemade BBQ sauce, but that sauce only enhances its flavor
