Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Tongs or a fork
  • Baking sheet (optional)
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Tyson Popcorn Chicken (choose your preferred size)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs or panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray (if desired)

Instructions

  • Set your air fryer for 5 minutes to 400°F (200°C).
  • While the air fryer is preheating, prepare your breading station. In one bowl, add the all-purpose flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the bread crumbs or panko, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  • Take the Tyson Popcorn Chicken pieces and dip each one into the flour, coating it evenly. Shake off any excess flour.
  • Next, dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is well coated. Allow any excess egg to drip off.
  • Transfer the chicken from the egg mixture to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the chicken.
  • Place the breaded chicken pieces into the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Lightly spray the chicken pieces with cooking spray to enhance crispiness (optional but recommended).
  • Cook the Tyson Popcorn Chicken in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time using tongs or a fork.
  • Once the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, remove it from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving plate. Repeat the process for any remaining chicken pieces.
  • Serve the Tyson Popcorn Chicken immediately as a delicious appetizer or snack.
