Warm a 9x13 casserole dish in a 375°F oven.
Brown beef with dried onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain.
Reheat the skillet. Add 3.5 cups beef broth to browned bits.
Noodles and corn. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5-8 minutes, stirring often, until noodles are cooked (if noodles look dry, add up to 1/2 cup extra liquid).
When the noodles are done and most of the broth is gone, turn off the heat.
Stir in soup cans, sour cream, and cheese. Add the remaining cheese to a casserole dish.
