Ingredients

  • Flour, 2 cups
  • Margarine, 1/2 cup
  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Medium eggs, 2
  • Mashed bananas, 1 cup
  • Milk, 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice, 1 teaspoon
  • Baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt for taste
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it and preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While the eggs are still at room temperature, whisk them together. Combine the sugar and butter by stirring it in. Mix till it becomes creamy.
  • Add the milk, lemon juice, and bananas to the blender. To combine thoroughly: Mix the dry and the liquid components together. The chopped nuts should be included in the batter.
  • Prepare the baking dish by greasing it, then add the batter to it. Get an oven thermometer and set the temperature to 350 degrees for an hour. Examine the item with a poker or a fork to determine whether or not it is fully cooked.
  • Take it out of the oven and let it stand for a few minutes before serving. Place it on a cooling rack so that it can get cold. After the chocolate has cooled, cut it into pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas: Ripe bananas are essential for this recipe. They are easier to mash and will add more flavor to the bread.
  • Mix the ingredients carefully: Be sure to mix the wet and dry ingredients together thoroughly, but be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in dense, tough bread.
  • Adjust the baking time as needed: The baking time for this recipe will depend on the size and shape of your pan, as well as the ripeness of your bananas and the altitude of your location. Keep an eye on the bread as it bakes and use a toothpick or cake tester to check for doneness.
  • Let the bread cool before slicing: It's important to let the bread cool completely before slicing and serving. This will help the bread hold its shape and make it easier to slice.
  • Experiment with variations: This recipe is a great starting point, but feel free to experiment with adding different ingredients or variations to make it your own. For example, try adding nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit to the batter, or try making mini loaves or muffins instead of a traditional loaf.
