Ingredients

  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter
  • Brown rice, 1 cup
  • There is only enough onion soup for one packet (any choice)
  • Beef consommé from Campbell's, one can
  • 1 ½ cups of chopped mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper, 1 ½ tsp. to taste

Instructions

  • Bake the butter sticks in a casserole for three to five minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit after placing them in the dish. After the butter has melted, mix the cream with a spoon, and then spread it out evenly across the top of the pan.
  • Place the soup packet on top of the brown rice that has been placed in the dish. After that, pour in the beef consommé from a can of Campbell's that already has gravy within the can.
  • After that, using a spoon, thoroughly combine all of the ingredients, and then, while swirling, add the mushrooms. To impart a savory flavor to the dish, sprinkle some salt and pepper over the top.
  • The rice casserole topped with beef consomme should remain in the oven for a further 40 to 45 minutes, or until both the rice and the meat have reached the desired level of doneness.
  • You may now serve the beef consomme recipe with the scrumptious brown rice that you prepared earlier.
