Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 lb. of ground meat
  • 1 chopped onion 1 thinly sliced celery stem 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried Oregano
  • A pinch of dried basil and powdered cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 cup crushed crumbs
  • A quarter of a cup of shredded Parmesan
  • Two big yolks
  • 1/2 mug milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste

Instructions

  • Put the oven on to preheat to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large dish, mix together the ground beef with the onion, celery, spices, bread crumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
  • In a separate dish, combine the milk and eggs and beat them together.
  • Mix the ground beef with the onion and garlic, then add it to the liquid along with the oil and tomato sauce.
  • Utilize your palms to combine everything thoroughly.
  • After shaping the beef into a loaf, place it in a large loaf pan and bake it for one hour. At a minimum of 15 minutes, it should be allowed to relax.
  • Once it has been drained, the bread should be sliced and served with gravy or tomato sauce on top.
