  • 4 crispy taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions

Cook the Ground Beef

  • Brown the ground beef over medium heat in a frying pan.
  • Drain excess fat and add the taco seasoning according to the package instructions.
  • Simmer until fully cooked, creating a flavorful and seasoned meat filling.

Prepare the Cheesy Layer

  • While the beef is cooking, warm the gorditas in a separate pan or microwave.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on each gordita.
