  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (dark, milk, or a mix)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs individually, beating thoroughly after adding each one. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Take another bowl and whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, ensuring a well-blended consistency.
  • Carefully mix in the chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution in the cookie dough.
  • Use a cookie scoop or spoon to place rounded portions of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then move them to a wire rack for complete cooling.
