Texas Sweet Tea Cheddars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Heat a large saucepan and bring 4 cups of water to a boiling point. Remove it from heat and add 4 tea bags. Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Take out the tea bags and mix in 1 cup of granulated sugar until it completely dissolves.
  • Let the sweet tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it until it's chilled.
  • Once the sweet tea is cold, take a pitcher and add 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the sweet tea over the cheese and stir gently until the cheese is evenly distributed.
  • Serve your Texas Sweet Tea Cheddars over ice cubes and enjoy!
