Heat a large saucepan and bring 4 cups of water to a boiling point. Remove it from heat and add 4 tea bags. Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes.
Take out the tea bags and mix in 1 cup of granulated sugar until it completely dissolves.
Let the sweet tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it until it's chilled.
Once the sweet tea is cold, take a pitcher and add 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
Pour the sweet tea over the cheese and stir gently until the cheese is evenly distributed.
Serve your Texas Sweet Tea Cheddars over ice cubes and enjoy!
