Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dried fruits 1 cup mixed (e.g., raisins, cranberries, apricots)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, almonds, coconut, sunflower seeds, and flaxseeds.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together honey, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
  • Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated.
  • Evenly distribute the mixture on the lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until the granola is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  • Once cooled, mix in the dried fruits.
  • Store in an airtight container.
