Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and then position it within a baking dish.
  • Cover the meatloaf with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the top is browned and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes before you start slicing.
