Instructions

  • Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta using a colander and set it aside.
  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a saucepan. Add the diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing until they become soft and translucent.
  • Add the ground beef and Italian sausage to the saucepan, breaking them into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon. Cook the meat until it turns brown and is fully cooked.
  • Combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper, stirring well. Let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing everything together until the pasta is thoroughly coated in the meaty marinara sauce.
